NOTIFICATIONS OF ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION: SENT
All notifications of acceptance have now been sent. If you do not receive a notification please check your junk mail and / or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The email notice was only sent to the main contact as indicated on your abstract submission. It is the responsibility of the main contact to ensure all presenters are aware of the guidelines and are registered for the ASM.
Please note that ALL accepted abstracts will be published in the Canadian Geriatrics Journal. If you do not wish to have your abstract published, you must withdraw your poster no later than March 31, 2021.
Your digital poster will be displayed in an ASM portal, which will allow delegates to access the poster portal at their leisure. The deadline to submit content for the poster portal is April 26, 2021. Anything received after this date may not be uploaded to the CGS poster portal. Online conference registration ends on May 16, 2021. Click here to register.

CGS Poster Awards
Three awards will be presented for the best posters. Any trainee or student is eligible for this award.
If you have been selected to present an oral abstract presentation, we ask that you pre-record your presentation. Your presentation must be 6 minutes in length to allow sessions to stay on time. A live 2-3 minute Q&A session will take place following your presented pre-recorded talk. For further instruction on how to pre-record your session, please click here.
Each oral abstract concurrent session is 60 minutes in length, with 6 presenters per session. A detailed list will be provided soon which includes the order of presentations.
You must email your final pre-recorded presentation and PDF copy to email@example.com no later than Wednesday, April 28.
If the primary author is a student or trainee, the abstract submission will be considered for an oral presentation that will be presented virtually during the ASM. The primary author MUST register, plan to present and attend the CGS ASM to be eligible.

The following prizes/awards will be available for oral presentations:
This prize is for the best scientific presentation by a subspecialty resident (Geriatric Medicine PGY4, PGY5 or Family Medicine Care of the Elderly PGY3) at the CGS ASM. Graduate students are not eligible for this prize.
This award is for the best scientific presentation by a medical student, health professional student or undergraduate degree student at the CGS ASM.
