CHOOSING WISELY CANADA

The CGS has been proud to partner with the Choosing Wisely Canada (www.choosingwiselycanada.org) in developing “ Five things Physicians and Patients Should Question” for Geriatrics.  The list targets tests and procedures that have little evidence of benefit and may cause harm to patients.

The CGS was in the first wave of society recommendations and our list was launched in 2014.   The CGS list is located at http://www.choosingwiselycanada.org/recommendations/geriatrics/  and includes materials for patients and families.  Toolkits are also available to help you implement a Choosing Wisely project (http://www.choosingwiselycanada.org/in-action/toolkits/)   Please take time to explore not only our list, but the other resources available
